Character Name: Kaikaina "Sister" Grif
Character Series: Red vs. Blue
Character Age: 18 (she will be an "adult")
Background: Biographical and relationships. She's from directly after Reconstruction Episode 2.
Personality:
Beyond anything else, Sister is incredibly disconnected: from the world, from common sense, and social norms in general. And she really doesn't care, considering how de-sensitized she proves to be from even some of the more outlandish happenings in Blood Gulch. While she isn't on the oblivious level (she's aware that people in high school called her the "girl with seven abortions", as well as the fact that she recognizes danger), she certainly begins to approach it. When under fire from Tex, someone that the other members are clearly afraid of, Sister stands up and shouts at her to "stop shooting, you stupid bitch!" She doesn't scream or really even begin to be scared of Tex even while the others are screaming. Instead, she asks why Church and Tex aren't dating, as that's what's on her mind at the time. Like her older brother, she has literally no investment in the war or in their teams other than Grif and could care less about anyone's history.
It's this same disconnect that allows Sister to be comfortable with being a mostly subservient person. More than once, she's ordered around, doing things that many people would have some kind of personal problem with, such as Tex's threat to not be more popular than her and Church's rule to "not kill the leader." Most of the time, these sorts of things don't bother Sister in any way and will even continue to speak on topics that could damage hers or her brother's reputations, such as when she goes on and on about their mom's role in the circus as both the bearded lady and the fat lady because "she's super talented." This makes her incredibly easy to order around, unfortunately, and this has gotten her into trouble with others, especially considering how she takes many people at face value.
Thus, Sister honestly does little to no thinking for herself. Her life is driven primarily by her older brother Grif and she's perhaps a little on the co-dependent side in regards to him. Her sole reason for joining the army in the first place is because she was lonely and scared at his absence. Despite others making fun of this, she genuinely sees this as a viable option, as she knows how little violence affects her and she knows that her brother is stationed in some backwater canyon. She genuinely cares for and loves her older brother, one of the few people in her life that she can rely on, as their mother ran off to join the circus. In addition to the lack of their father figure in the picture, Sister long ago ceased to care about much of anything except her older brother. She imitates him when able and isn't shy about being a little borderline clingy with him.
Still, despite all of this, and Grif's penchant for being a slacker, Sister doesn't like to sit still for too long. When put to a task, she responds enthusiastically and cheerfully with a "woo hoo!" In general, she's pretty positive and is perfectly content to remain in her state of eternal disconnect if it means she can stay positive. One rare occasions, she becomes incredibly angry and it's difficult for her to let go of whatever argument has struck her fancy, despite any and all irrational comments she makes. In her mind, when she's in the right, that means she's in the fucking right; she won't let go of it until the person physically walks away from her and even then she might continue to rag. It very much depends on whether the issue at hand is close to her personally or not. If it isn't, she's more than fine with giving little more than a passing care to it.
As such, she rarely has few opinions to input to the Blood Gulch crew and rarely ever voices them. It's not out of fear of their judgments, but a very decisive lack of caring. On the same token, when she transfers to the Blue team, she cheers excitedly, despite the fact that her brother is on the Red team. She doesn't know about the politics involved in the Red vs. Blue conflict and really just doesn't care enough about it either. However, this is also when her low intelligence becomes more readily apparent. She does miss things that people tell her and results in her not quite grasping the point of a conversation. But, again, she really doesn't mind much; if it were important, she would have heard it. Rules, luckily enough, are on that list of things that she cares about and while she has no moral rules for herself, she's not about to get herself court-martialed just to prove some kind of point. For all she cares, someone could tell her that she's not allowed to wear her armor on Tuesdays and she would be alright with that. The reason or rationale behind laws and rules don't matter to her in the slightest.
She isn't manipulative, though, and likely never will be; she tends to see the world a little naively, in some sense of the word. While Sister absolutely sees the dirtiest possible option in a list, this also means that she isn't searching for option in which she can most take advantage of another person, either emotionally, physically, or the like. She believes in pulling her own weight when people need her to, and she's not afraid to help if the situation calls for it (but mostly if someone instructs her to go help, as she rarely does anything on her own).
Abilities: Surprisingly, she can communicate in morse code and can fly a drop ship (albeit she can't tell a hyperdrive from a lightdrive and refers to them as "that thing with all the knobs" and the "other thing with all the knobs," respectively). As well, she can speak Spanish (badly) and fire a gun. However, that's where her technical abilities end and her less-useful ones begin. She has a ping-pong trick, is double-jointed and, as thus, incredibly flexible. Her past on the cheerleading squad means that she likely also took some gymnastics at some point.

From a different game. Replies were cut short because I dropped her due to some sudden RL events.
